Rosanna Pierre Organization has made tremendous impact thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the community of third section commune Petit-Trou De Nippes MWENÇON, Liève, Lachodière, LaValle, NanPini, Nankass, Kafève, Kafou-Michel, and Terre-Rouge, Haiti. The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to education and increase overall public health of the community. Our Story

CARINE VINCENT

I went to Haiti in 2017 to visit my sick uncle in a village name L’Asile and what I saw changed was the need for a change.

There is no health center, no clean water, and no electricity. Children living in tents or rundown wooden built homes, that get wet during the rain, that have no floors, and bugs that crawl over the bodies of our children. Family and friends with nowhere to get help, brought me to the conclusion that something needed to be done to turn around the suffering and loss of lives. It brings tears to my eyes. Knowing that family and friends live this life on a daily basis, it really hit home.

I decided I could make a difference starting out small helping, those that I can, then my dream of helping, having empathy, compassion, and love for others will be accomplished. I’m only one person and can only do but so much, however the little I do will be remembered and will save and make a difference in someone’s life. If they had someone looking out for them, it will make a difference and maybe they will not end up like my uncle who had gotten and stayed sick enough to pass away a short time later.

My goal is to keep pushing until I've reached as many people as I can, and until I've made an impact to encourage others to remember those less fortunate than themselves.

My grandmother Rosanna Pierre had a significant impact on my life, both in childhood and as I grew up. Although she died some years ago, she is still an example for me in many life situations. My grandmother believed that happiness and success in life depended on attitudes and that being positive is the right choice and her peer relationships can be an example to follow. Despite her active social life, she always had enough time for the family and was our keeper of traditions. My grandmother was a leader for those experiencing difficult times. She had many friends and acquaintances and was constantly on the move. She was always eager to help, and I grew up with the belief that helping and doing one’s best are normal behaviors. Still, these experiences provide me with many examples from my grandmother’s life, which I can share with others. The major source of meaning in life for my grandmother was her family, sharing and giving. She was attentive and caring with all of us and others. She valued every moment spent with her family, both close and distant relatives. The experiences with my grandmother have an impact on my work. The major objective of my work is to provide the best possible help for everyone that formed under the influence of my grandmother.

Our Mission

Rosanna Pierre Organization wants to promote health and wellness to the underserved communities in Haiti and Kenya. Offering free health screening and referrals to local healthcare specialist at a cheaper price to rapidly identify risk factors and educate individuals on modifiable risks.

Our goal is increasing life expectancy, create employment opportunities, and improving all around health in these communities.
